What is the PMU?The Project Management Unit (PMU), situated within KNCV offices located in The Hague, The Netherlands, is responsible for overseeing program implementation and day-to-day management of all TB CAP projects. It facilitates project implementation by different Coalition partners and keeps all partners informed about progress made. While each coalition partner is responsible for the implementation of the projects assigned to that organization, it is the task of the PMU to facilitate the development, preparation and approval of the work plans, transfer of funds and monitor progress. The PMU is accountable to KNCV as prime, who is in the end accountable to USAID. The PMU is the coalitions’ contact with USAID Washington and the CTO and the regional bureaus, as well as coordinating partner for regional work plans. The Project Director is responsible for the overall management of the project; the Project Officers are responsible for the day to day management, administration and contractual issues. The Financial staff are together with the financial controller responsible for financial management, including the flow of funds from USAID to the partners, reporting and auditing issues. The Monitoring and Evaluation officer is responsible for M&E, compiling technical reports, knowledge management and projects related to the Global Funds. The technical staff (TB/HIV Advisor, TB/IC Officer, Human Resource Development Coordinator and the PMDT Officer) are supporting, facilitating and accelerating the scale up of TB/HIV, MDR, HRD and IC interventions.
