Recent TB CAP Events

The TB CAP HRD Coordinator Ineke Huitema visited Southern Sudan to help develop a strategic HRD plan for TB control in line with the strategic plan for Human Resource for Health (2007-2017) and the National strategic plan for TB control.


During the visit preparations were made with the National team to conduct a stakeholders meeting on the development of the HRD strategic plan for TB control and a separate stakeholders meeting for developing the annual implementation plan for TB control. The stakeholder's workshops were conducted in two consecutive days followed by a three days writeshop in parallel sessions for both groups.


The product of the stakeholder's workshop and writeshop was a draft version of the HRD strategic plan for TB control and annual implementation plan. A taskforce was installed to finalize the document and the deadline for dissemination and implementation of the HRD strategic plan is set on the 1st of July 2010.
